Here is a site that lists the manufacture's data for 0-60 at 5.7 sec for the 2.0. Their estimated time for 0-60 is 6.1 sec.
6.1 is pretty fast (and is identical to the base 2016 Audi A5 coupe), 5.7 would be significantly less than what I was expecting based on 0-60 times for the fastest times recorded for the Optima with that engine. Lighter weight and 8 speed transmission with better tires must be the magic.
Like the video for the 3.3, it doesn't seem to be pushed to the max - but this was a review and most likely not enough miles on it to safely punch it heavily yet. Would like to know how fast this was anyway...pushed to the limit would probably drop it a half second.
After seeing a few acceleration videos for both, I'm starting to wonder if both engines just don't hit redline, even in sport mode. Or maybe, the true redline is ~6k but it shows higher.
