Arizona people - now that we've had some days well over 100 degrees, how well does the AC work for you after sitting out in the sun all day?

Does it cool off faster, slower, or about the same as other cars you've owned?

Once the cabin is cooled off, how loud do the fans run to maintain temp?

I'm looking to buy a GT2 eventually and it'd help me out. Thanks!

Well @Sabs, it's like any other car for trying to cool it off as soon as you get in it but if you ceramic tint your car, that will help a lot. I don't run my AC on full, when I'm driving I have it on 3 with my seat cooler on too and I'm fine.

I currently have an Optima SX with cooled seats and ceramic tint, but even at full blast the AC takes about 5 minutes to cool down to 70 degrees on auto. Some cars have better compressors than others. The panoramic glass covering the entire roof of the Optima probably doesn't help either.

I had the a 2015 Optima SX before I traded it in on the Stinger, the AC in the Optima sucked, my ex wife's Optima EX AC was awesome, it would freeze you out of the car. It mite be better I don't know because I don't run mine on full. If you put a piece of ceramic tint on the panoramic glass along with the rest of the windows it will dramatically down your temps inside your car. Its not cheap to have that ceramic installed but worth every penny.

I'm really surprised how quickly mine cools down after sitting in the 107 degree heat here. My two other cars are a Red 1995 Acura NSX and a Blue 2008 Mazdaspeed 3 and those take over three times as long to cool to a comfortable temperature than my white GT1. All cars are tinted.
