Will a full sized spare fit?

I want get a full size spare tire, instead of relying on the donut. Roads in CO are not that great especially with all the construction (Had the car for 2 weeks, and already got a nail). I want to make sure my a full size tire will fit in the designated spot. Im getting another rim and tire to just replace if I get another flat. I am doing the same thing when I get my winter tires in. I was just wondering if anyone else has done this yet or knows if a full size spare will fit?

you could always just throw the spare in the trunk, thats what I did with my BMW after I got rid of the run flats. eats up a little trunk space tho..

I'm just still giddy over the fact I have a spare of any sort. My last 2 cars (2011 Camaro RS and 2014 Regal GS) only had fix a flat kits with compressors which don't help at all if its a hole in the sidewall or a dented rim (thanks to a piece of a 2x4 I couldn't avoid). Had to have both of them towed at least once due to flats which was pathetic. Don't blame you for wanting a full size spare but it will take up a good chunk or space.
