Who waves to other Stinger owners?

Took a road trip for the holiday and along the way I passed 2 other Stingers, got one wave back and the other older lady looked at me like I was crazy.

Anyone else wave to other Stinger drivers?

I do, have not gotten a response. I have also flashed my high beams when I see one going the opposite direction. So far only one person has answered back

I used to when there were fewer Stingers, now there are more of them on the roads.

Stingers are even more rare up here in Canada, 8 out of 10 times the owners would wave back when I wave to them.

I've seen mostly parked Stingers so far. I did recently see someone in my area with a new Ceramic Silver one drive right by me. I waved like a madman, and the lady driving it probably thought I was some sort of psycho. I was just so stoked to see another one in the wild.

I don't see any on the road, which I'm surprised. When I had my Optima SX I've seen a couple of the premiums, that's it and of course I've seen a couple GT out at the Pavilions on Saturday which is nice.

I don't think I would wave at another Stinger unless I knew the driver. I've been riding sportbikes since 1989, you always waved at each other but its not the same in a car, the people that drive are not used to having someone wave at them why they drive because they drive the same car them.

I get the feeling those of us who wave are on this forum while those that don't probably came from BMW and aren't really into the car community and car culture

Even after 2.5 years, I've only been close to another Stinger a handful of times and each time, they ignored me. The only time I've been acknowledged by another one, if you can call it that, was while in Mexico, when I raced a stock GTS and showed him what a jb4-tuned Stinger can do. He didn't like it, I assume, since he ignored me after that. 😂

It'll be a while before the Stinger is widely seen as a community similar to Subarus or Hondas. It'll probably get there in a few more years.
