That reminds me of my first week of ownership. I would just go in the garage, sit in the car and play with the UVO system while admiring the new car.

2nd week in with my GT2 and still do this.

Never really thought I'd own a dream car, but this definitely qualifies.

Almost a year into ownership and I still do it.
Hell I even do it whenever I drive my Z after 9+ years of ownership.

I do that. One of my bro-in-laws said to me once, "If you don't admire your car as you walk away from it or up to it, you bought the wrong car" That has stuck with me ever since

True. In fact I've done this on all the cars I've purchased.

I don't know, the Stinger looks proper, yet, to me, it doesn't have the appeal of the lines on a Corvette or a Nissan Z (Z33 and Z34). I like its long-ish hood and the longer distance of the fender area between the front door leading edge and the trailing edge of the wheel well opening. I like the fastback.

I don't hate it, yet I'm not enamored by it.

To gain knowledge, learn a few things. My cars were rarely chosen simply because of their looks, good or bad. I'm more of a "form following function, if it looks good, it's a bonus" kind of person. That doesn't mean I don't have taste.

While I respect your view on this, I respectfully disagree for me personally. If the exterior of a car isn't pleasing to my eyes, then it's out of the picture. If the interior (which is what you will be staring at the most) isn't pleasing to my eyes, it's out of the picture. If the the driving dynamics aren't something that excite me, it's out of the picture. For me, an ugly car with a great drivetrain isn't a car I would want. All these things have to work together for me to want a car. Exterior looks, then interior looks, then driving dynamics. If one is off, then it's a no-go for me.
Now, I don't agree with you on the looks of Vettes and Z's. I've never been a fan of Vette designs and the only Z I think is decent looking is the 370Z. But, you probably don't agree with me on other cars that I think are gorgeous. Yet, if we're both true car guys we can both respectfully disagree but still geek out on cars
