HKS M45iL Spark plugs are required to run the Lap3 Chip on your Stinger 3.3TT: (BUY HKS M45iL Spark Plugs)
HKS M45XL Spark plugs are required to run the Lap3 Chip on your Stinger 2.0T: (BUY HKS M45XL Spark Plugs)

For those using the chip we have confirmed the upgraded plugs for the 3.3TT to be HKS M45iL, this should be the solution for customers using the chip with the 3.3TT.

This should be the fix instructed to us by Lap3 in Korea

Do you know what is the gap on the HKS plugs?

They come pregapped but I'll double check the measurement to make sure there isnt a need for regapping.

We ALWAYS recommend checking gap lengths, even on pregapped plugs.

Phew! You got me digging and I'm glad you've been asking these questions!

The HKS M45iL plugs (different from the stock 3.3T plugs) have a spark gap slightly smaller than stock. HKS M45iL and HKSm45XL plugs come pregapped at 0.026-0.028. Checking your gap on your HKS plugs you want to keep in this range and NOT gap to the factory 3.3T spark plug gap of 0.0314

Please maintain the pregapped length of the HKS M45iL and HKSM45XL plugs of 0.026-0.028
