So as a potential buyer, looking at the differences between a GT1 w/ ADAS and a GT2 -- you miss out on Napa Leather Seats w/ 16 way adjustment, the "shift-by-wire" Stick, and the Heads Up Display. It still has memory seats, and paddle shifters on the steering wheel. Am I missing anything else? Seems like a good way to save $5,000...

EDIT: missed ventilated seats, something I do appreciate in my Optima.

Wow they really limit your color options on the base Stinger. At least Silky Silver is available.

Yeah, that's pretty lame...only 3 colors, and still only 4 if you go up a trim level. It's also weird that the Panthera Metal is available on GT, but not the GT1 or GT2.

Kia's whole color configuration is a nightmare.

bahaha what the hell? Limited-Slip Differential - requires Sunset Yellow Exterior. This package is not available for Panthera Metal / Black Leather

I still don't see the logic in yellow being available only on the GT or GT2, but not the GT1. I also don't see the logic in LSD being optional on the GT but not the GT1.

Edit: ATX caught it too, I see..lol.

That makes absolutely no sense. I was leaning towards the GT1, but the LSD not being an option is mind boggling.

Wonder who's the marketing genius behind Kia's configurator. Micro Blue Pearl GT2 is only available Light Gray Leather int. whereas the Micro Blue Pearl GT1 is only available with Black Leather int. [}(]

So if I want the Micro Blue Pearl GT2 with Black int. I'm SOL.[shameful]

The remote start for $495 is actually a decent deal, the downside is you have to carry two different remotes.

I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that the UVO phone app will have a remote start function. I figure if the Rio has it, surely the Stinger should too. Let's hope so anyway.

This whole thing is a nightmare [paranoid] Marketing strategy. I can almost guarantee they will have different color/options/configurations for the 2019 model. If you can wait until late 2018 that is...

If there's a subscription fee for the app I'd rather not deal with it.

Yeah... looks like the builder is still "in beta". I tried all different trims and can't find Sunset Yellow available on ANY of the models.

I also can't believe they wouldn't offer the Napa Red Leather on the Snow White exterior.

Also, you can't finish the build a even select a local dealer to send to you. I'd say this got leaked out as if you start at www.kia.com you can't actually get to this configurator.

Well that's completely bogus! Wonder if the UVO app will allow you to start it with your phone...? [dunno]
