I bet the Stinger comes with run flats like most luxury cars these days. Interesting that they would put the battery there though, wondering if it's used for weight distribution. Trunk does look very narrow with that reporter in there.

Correct, it's for weight distribution. And you're probably right the run-flats too. After having a car with no spare, only an air compressor, for 3 years, I really didn't want another one. Though I've been lucky, it's hard to relax and enjoy a road trip, knowing if you have a problem you're at the mercy of roadside assistance.
I wasn't able to find much details on the 4 cyl turbo but from the looks of these 6 cyl pictures there's really not much room for the battery to be up front.
