That's crazy, I'm glad the first year Stingers didn't have this many issues.

Looks to be a software issue common to a part used in many BMWs as well where it lets an owner do something they shouldn't be able to do. Easily fixed thankfully, and as an owner you'd have to intentionally go through and configure the camera to remain switched off in order for the issue to affect you (and you can easily just change the configuration back to remove the issue as well).
