Stinger engine fire

I knew the car was hot (sorry, couldn't resist) but this isn't good. Wonder if it was mechanical or electrical:

That was Kia dealership's demo car for test driving. That fire was because that the test drivers (customers) tried launch control too much.

If you all are familiar with Porsche, Top Gear America did a bit involving one of the new (at the time) 911's and did 50 back-to-back launch control digs. There was no time in between the runs. Kia should take note. The system is clearly not advanced enough to be put into a production car.

I?m really surprised this was caused by excessively using launch control. I saw in the manual that they recommended cool down in between launches, but never expected it to smoke.

The smoke seems to be coming from the driver side, wonder if it could be something oil related.
