Just putting it out there, some time in the future they should have Stinger Fest In Arizona, you know the weather would be perfect.

It would be fun to go but that's just to far too drive.

I'm still on the OEM all-seasons, though. LOL

That won't keep me off the dragstrip but autocross... ? Yeah, no.

Maybe I'll have to get that summer wheel and tire package figured out!

I'm in the same boat since I just got my Stinger last week. Hope I'll have a summer wheel/tire combo myself, though part of me would love to throw on some R-compounds for autocross/roadcourse/drag strip duties. And the occasional drive on the streets on a sunny day.

Edit: I realize the cost would be too much, but a track day on GIR would be nice. I remember when my old club ran the National Prelude Meet years back, and even with a driving school partnered with us, it still cost us $10,000 (in 2006 dollars) to use the roadcourse setup for the day.

Well, three Stingers made it, including myself.

The event was actually FocusFest and was fairly well-organized: vendors, giveaways, planned activities (drag, autocross, judged car show, exhaust/rev contest, etc.). They made room for us, and it really was a very good time. There just wasn't anything Stinger there other than the three of us.

Personally, it was great to meet the other owners, compare cars, compare experiences, etc. And, as an ex-Fiesta ST owner who attended the ST Octane Academy at the Ford Performance factility in Salt Lake City, I enjoyed the Focus STs as well. As far as I know, no Stingers stuck around for Sunday's kart racing, awards, etc.

Thanks to the organizers for a very nice event! And it was great to chat about all things Stinger with the other owners!
