New variation on hatch rattle fix

So I took mine in for the infamous hatch rattle...they said it was due to a missing trim piece. If that Christmas tree plug was missing, I doubt it would cause any noise.

Did they do the recall on your car? And what year is your car

I have a 2019 base model (so it's a manual hatch). They didn't mention anything about a recall. I expected the same fix everyone else has mentioned and was surprised by this. Invoice also says they adjusted the trunk lid panel. Due to the current insanity I'm now working from home and I've gone from driving 100 miles/day to barely driving 100 miles last month so it may be awhile until I really notice if this fixed it or not. Fingers crossed but not holding my breath.
