Hi,

We just picked up a Yellow limited edition GT yesterday for my wife. Hope to gain a lot more knowledge about the car on the forums. This was sort of an impulse buy as I had no intentions on buying one yesterday lol. Ive heard lots of good things about this car so I hope it holds up well.

My main concern is that it came with pilot super sport summer tires and we might still get some snow this year. I will want winter wheels and snow tires for next year for sure. I have some 245/40/18's Michelin PA4's left over from my WRX STI. I doubt the wheels will fit but hopefully the tires will with some aftermarket wheels. I know I still need to search but if you know that size will fit I would appreciate some direction.

Congrats from another Sti owner, the wheels won't fit but the tires should work just fine. If you're going to get new winter tires in the future the recommended 18" size is 225/45/R18.

DBurd he means with 18" wheels. I would keep the stock wheels and tires.

245/45/R18 means you're going to have a width of round 9.6" inch, its recommended that you stay around 9" up front for clearance issues, the recommended size is 225/45/R18 or 235/45/18 for 18" wheels.

At 9.6" you won't have any problems in the rear but there might be an issue up front. This may vary between tire brand and wheel offset though.
