Kia Stinger's transmission with centrifugal pendulum absorber

I've read that Kia will be using a centrifugal pendulum absorbers in the Stinger for smoother gear changes.


Basic components.
1. Pendulum masses.
2. Output isolator spring.
3. Input isolator spring.
4. Output hub.



This is a similar setup from BMW.

Does this mean the engine operates smoother at low rpm's like 1100 or 1200. It 'lugs' at an even lower rpm? I noticed in my driving that it feels really smooth at 1000 rpm under load. Never felt that way in other sixes. I always felt the need to upshift and stay above 1500 anyway in prior sixes.
