The guys at Tork Motorsports was able to see a 44whp gain at 6100rpm just from deleting the stock mufflers and adding new intakes. Talk about restrictions on the stock exhaust.

Baseline Dyno vs Intake and Muffler Delete

Absolutely speechless...

KIA Stinger GT 3.3TT intake results.

Never, in the 20 + years of dynoing cars, modifying, building parts, tuning, ect.... have I ever seen intake(s) pick up power like this.

Our base line was 327 WHP at 6100 RPM. This is with just the muffler deletes. With the intakes on the KIA Stinger GT, we are now at 371 WHP at 6100 RPM!!! That is 44WHP gain at 6100 RPM.

WIth the muffler deletes and intakes, we have a 50 + WHP gain at 6100 RPM. I cannot wait to see what the gain will be with the secondary cats removed!!!

I am letting the car cool down (dinky little FMIC gets really hot during pulls) and going to make one more pass!!!

The first dyno chart is a mess, but its showing the stock, vs muffler delete, vs muffler delete and intakes (3 different charts, each with gains increasing).

The second dyno sheet shows stock vs muffler delete and intakes (2 different charts, showing stock, to where are at with the muffler deletes and intakes).

Stay tuned, because more exhaust and FMIC will be next!!!

I believe the 44 WHP gain is from the intakes. They didn't dyno with just the gain from the intakes on an otherwise stock car, so the 371 WHP includes intakes and muffler delete. The 327 WHP "base line" is with the muffler delete.

I could be wrong, but that's how I read it.

The OP was a bit confusing for me too, I interpret it as 44whp from the muffler deletes and a 50+whp gain from both intake and muffler deletes.

The second line of his facebook post is "KIA Stinger GT 3.3TT intake results."
The third line is "Never, in the 20 + years of dynoing cars, modifying, building parts, tuning, ect.... have I ever seen intake(s) pick up power like this."

Looking at the dyno numbers and the quote, it's 44whp from baseline only if the intake and muffler deletes are factored in. Still great numbers regardless.

Baseline = 327
Muffler Delete = 355
Muffler Delete & Intakes = 371

Just confirmed with them again on FB, it is 44whp with both intake and deletes.

Still in development I believe. They said they'll be joining this forum to share more updates.

Good to know. His original facebook post is not written very clearly, especially since he said the gain is 50+ with intakes and exhaust. Either way, gaining 44 or 50 WHP with just intakes and muffler delete is impressive.

Hey guys we are here now! Intakes are still in development like stated above. we are going through a few different designs. Right now we are looking at an intake with a cold air box basically with a portion of the top section of the box missing so if the intake can gather air from the space between the fender and the hood.

50 would be at the biggest gain in the entire curve not just at peak
