Kia is going all-in with its sporty Stinger gran turismo, to the point where for the first time ever for the brand, Canadians currently have the chance to secure a pre-order of the vehicle before it arrives this winter. The only catch is that pricing for the Stinger still hasn't officially been announced.
A press release from the automaker states that the base Stinger GT will start at "less than $47,000," while the upgraded Stinger GT Limited will have an MSRP of "less than $52,000." It's clear that this new halo car from Kia won't come cheap.
There are 200 units available for pre-order here in Canada, and once they're gone, they're gone. We don't know exactly how many Stingers will be coming here; Kia simply states that "consumer demand (is) exceeding expectations" and only "a limited number" of models will be available for 2017.
"When the ... Stinger arrives this winter, it will be our best foot forward - a truly world-class gran turismo designed for passionate and spirited driving - in all seasons," said Ted Lancaster, VP & COO, Kia Canada. "To satisfy the growing demand for this vehicle, we're excited to offer the company's first-ever presale opportunity so that those who want to stand out from the crowd can do so."
