Kia better than Jag?

I'm in the UK and I currently drive a 5.0 V8 Jag XF. Actually that's a lie, I'm driving a 2.0d XE because my XF is in the dealers getting a warning light sorted out. The XF is a lovely, comfortable car but it hasn't been the most reliable car I've ever owned.
Back in 2008 we bought a Kia Picanto as a local commuting car and it served us well. We decided to replace it a month ago with a new Picanto GT Line S. The toys/bells/whistles in that make my 2010 Jag look particularly poor and the obvious choice was a Jag XE S. Then Google sticks in my news feed an article comparing the XE S to a car I'd never heard of before, the Stinger. OK, it's V6, not V8 but 4.7 to 60 is quicker than the 5.2 my XF claims. And toys, so many toys. To spec an XE S to an equivalent level is over ?60k.
I've not seen one in the flesh yet, but I've got a test drive booked for the 1st Dec and I'm likely to buy one unless I find something that irritates me more than the unreliability of my Jag.
I know I'm going to meet people who will be incredulous that I swapped a Jag for a Kia, but badge snobbery is just snobbery over a piece of tin.

It depends on what you mean better, in terms of sexiness the Jaguar XF is still a beautiful car. However in terms of reliability I would say by far it's amongst the worst. My father in-law had a 2011 Jaguar XJ which was constantly in and out of the dealer for all sorts of electrical problems. He finally took my advice and traded it in for a Lexus and the only time that's been in the dealer was for routine maintenance.

Yep, 7 year warranty is a major attraction.

As a former 2007 Jaguar XJR owner here you'll be very happy with the Stinger.
