Took delivery of a new Stinger GT on Monday and am thrilled with the vehicle. Great performance and features. Only gripe is that the voice control has to operate through android auto or Apple car play. It should be blue tooth like most other cars

Congratulations. Post some pics soon!
I keep the "Hey Siri" option on on my iPhone. If you have an Android, you might be able to keep the "Hey Google" option on. Those work over bluetooth, I use it all the time.

Welcome aboard and congratulations.

The Silky's are rare, glad to see you were able to find one.

Thanks guys After a week I am still really impressed with the car. Pity that most people are badge conscious. When I tell people I have bought a Kia, I generally get the reply "Didn't think you would buy a Kia".
Then when they see it everyone has been impressed

I'm not badge conscious about Kia, I'm proud to tell people I drive a Kia when they ask what kind of car it is. The reason I changed my badges out front and rear to "E" is too be different and being that I'm a vet, K.I.A. for me stands to "Killed In Action" I didn't want that on my car. I've owned three Kia cars, I like the brand, It's just that I always rebadge my cars. I did not know what KIA stood for until I read this, not what I expected.

In cast you all didn't know this, but this is what the definition of KIA is: According to Kia Motors, the name "Kia" derives from the Sino-Korean characters "ki" (起, "to come out") and "a" (亞, which stands for (East) Asia), it is roughly translated as "to come out of the east."

I debadged my last two Ford's, I too am proud to say KIA when asked... I just like to customize, part of that for me is personalizing the badging/exterior:)

When I said most people are badge conscious I was trying to get the point across that if it had a Mercedes or BMW badge it would have more snob value to some people. I certainly was not referring to people replacing the Kia badges with E badges

You could do what @Chris71 did and remove the badges all together an it turned out damn good. Your right though, people that have a Mercedes or a BMW because they're snobs but that's ok if they want to spend that much money on a POS go a head, then spend a crap load of money on maintenance. The bottom line is we all enjoy our Stingers and we enjoy meeting up with other stinger owners an talking shop.(y)
