Pity that most people are badge conscious.
I'm not badge conscious about Kia, I'm proud to tell people I drive a Kia when they ask what kind of car it is. The reason I changed my badges out front and rear to "E" is too be different and being that I'm a vet, K.I.A. for me stands to "Killed In Action" I didn't want that on my car. I've owned three Kia cars, I like the brand, It's just that I always rebadge my cars. I did not know what KIA stood for until I read this, not what I expected.
In cast you all didn't know this, but this is what the definition of KIA is: According to
Kia Motors, the name "
Kia" derives from the Sino-Korean characters "ki" (起, "to come out") and "a" (亞, which
stands for (East) Asia), it is roughly translated as "to come out of the east."
