Jumping out of Drive

Hi, in 8 months I have twice had my GT Sport jump out of Drive in to Neutral whilst driving, has any one else experienced this ?

No chance you were resting your hand on the shifter?

That?s the only time I?ve done it while accelerating or braking.

I have had this happen a few times when I accidentally bumped into the shifter while driving. This is on the GT2 shifter, which is different than the other GT shifters. It?s extremely annoying that you do not need to depress the button to move from drive into Neutral. I?ve raised this to my dealership twice and they said it?s ?By Design.? To me that?s a really stupid design decision if so. I love this car, but this issue is really annoying, and could in certain situations be dangerous. I?m pushing for them to fix it. But the more of us do that, the better.

That seems like a crazy ?holy crap this is dangerous? problem .

Sorry. I?d drive it straight to the first dealership I could. Maybe some logs exist to help diagnose what happened.

Already booked in for 10,000 km service, I will mention problem then, and be carefull in the meantime !

Yes, electronic shifter. In our market GT Sport = GT 2

Has anyone been able to resolve this issue? This has been getting worse and worse for me. When I get into drive, about 50% of the time, if bounces back into Neutral even when I hold it down. This shifting into Neutral without pressing the button is ridiculous. There's a reason that shifting button is there. It shouldn't change from any gear to any other gear without pressing the button period.
