That sucks big time. Did the insurance even say how much the repair would have been to repair it?

Nope, they just deemed it totaled. Considering how the drivetrain and suspension was likely all damaged and torn up, it couldn't have possibly been worth it. And then the rear bumper, both side skirts, and front bumper replaced and repainted on top of all the mechanical damage? Easily a $20-$25k job at the minimum.
