How many people have received a thumbs up from other drivers on the road?

Since owning mine for the last month I've received three thumbs up, saw a couple of drivers snap pictures and have been approach by countless people at the gas stations asking about Stinger. Makes you feel like you're driving an exotic car.

Any others going through the same thing?

Yup. A guy at a car wash was drooling over it so much I had to give it an extra rinse. Had a crowd around it in the home Depot parking lot the other day. A guy in a Honda taking photos as I passed on the highway yesterday, etc...

The attention the car gets is borderline ridiculous. I have not gone a single day since owning it without someone making comments or going crazy over it.

At Walmart one day last week there were a group of young Marines standing around their Civics (I assume it's a club). I parked about 100' from them. They saw the car and all came over and walked around it while snapping pictures. One yelled out "sick fucking car, bro!". I felt bad because I had no interest in chatting with them, so I said thanks and drove off.

Any time I drive on base when the traffic at the gate isn't bad I get questioned by the MPs about the car.

While sitting in the car at work Friday I had someone walk all around the car trying to figure out what it was (I don't think he knew I was in it). When he got to the front he yelled out "oh my god, Kia!" to his buddy that was behind the car. I actually made a video of this incident and sent it to my wife so she could get a laugh.

Speaking of my wife, she went to a gas station close to the house Saturday and a few people were talking to her about the car. One of the guys said "I don't want to sound creepy but I actually followed you here to see what it was".

Those are just a few incidents over the last few days. Like I said, it's insane! But as for the original question, I've never received a thumbs up.

Front gate MP: "is that the new Kia Stinger? That is sexy as hell!"

And gas station lady: "What kind of car is that? Those lines are amazing!"

The attention you get from this car is very entertaining to say the least. I get a chuckle every time I'm at a traffic light and see people staring at the Stinger through the corner of my eyes.

Had a guy tell me "sik ride!", he was driving a Mercedes V12 Bi-turbo
Three other guys at the gas station pile out of their pickup and just stood there gaping at the car till I gassed up and drove away. Weird!

We had our first paparazzi experience on the drive home from the dealer. There was this guy driving a late model Mustang that sped by us on the left lane, next thing you know he slows way down and gets right next to me, snapped a picture with his cellphone and then sped up again.

just a brief history, I use my Stinger for work. Which is delivering mail to rural areas. Yesterday I was coming back and I noticed a highway patrolman about 10 car lenghts behind me, I always do 5 under the speed limit when working. There was a vehicle broke down on the shoulder so moved over to the left and used the turn signal. About another mile the lights came on so I pulled over the right. The first 2 questions where driver license and registration, every question after that was about the car, what engine, top speed, 0-60, this is a Kia and a few more. The reason he pulled me over, he said I didn't signal when I changed lane. Which I told him, I did and the reason I know this is because my car has lane assist and the car gives me a auidible warning and the sterring wheel gives alittle resistance. So I think you know way he pulled me over.
