Happy Stinger GT owner after buying a couple of weeks ago.

Was originally going to buy black with red trim but came across this yellow one and love how the colour “pops”!

Had a Mazda 6 Turbo Diesel prior which was still a nice drive and super-economical. Bought that to offset the fuel hungry RX7 in the background which was my fun car. Now I have 2 fun cars!

Prior to that I’ve had a BMW, RX8, WRX, Holden Commodore, Ford Falcon and Mazda 929. Stinger definitely leads the pack.

Does Australian GT have the twinturbo petrol V6 engine? Is the turbo diesel version marketed there?

Yep my GT is the TT V6.

No diesel model over here and also no AWD. RWD only!

I didn't know they pulled the yellow. But at least we now know why haha

I don’t have my own build thread as the car was a money pit for 2 different owners before me. I’ve done very little to it since. Here’s how she used to look originally - big difference!


From what I know the 1st owner did all the cosmetics and suspension. 2nd owner did the mechanicals like full engine rebuild, bridgeporting, single turbo conversion, fuel system upgrade etc. Brakes upgrades alone $5k apparently.
