I do believe that is a vacuum line so it will trigger a CEL code but it should still drive. Why do you have your tubes hooked up to the intakes from you BOV. If you go to home depot an buy two rubber leg tips you can plug the holes on your intakes. Here's a picture of the product.

Maybe he just wants a recirculating valve and doesn’t want it to make a lot of noise

I'm the one that posted the crazy wives club lol, I got gfb rec valves not bovs. Upgraded these in anticipation of my intercooler upgrade that is in route.
So no blow off, the injen intakes give me enough sound
So now you know, my wife's crazy and I'm an idiot, we make a great team!

Glad you got it fixed.
In the event this happens to anyone else, you can still drive the car, but you need to be gentle as that is the nipple that feeds the DV's the vacuum signal to open. No, it will not trigger a CEL and the car will not behave strangely.

I had this happen to me and it took me a week after taking delivery of the car, to reilase it was broken as I did not inspect under the hood at the moment of signing the papers. Needless to say, the dealer took care of it under warranty.
