Hi Stinger fans, glad to know there is a Stinger community already forming around this amazing vehicle and important icon for the Kia brand. I fell in love with the car ever since the concept was revealed in 2011.
I am also glad to see that I am not the only one that feels a bit let down by Kia's marketing strategy for the Stinger. Having seen and feel the "pre-prodution" model (which apparently is the Korean version). I was surprised at how much stripped is the US "final production" model. Lacking features like the 360 camera, the Qi cell charger, lack of a wider color palette and interior options. Features and options that competitors in the same class offer as standard on their vehicles.
For such an important car and trend defining vehicle for the brand, I think Kia dropped the ball in the areas where I think matter most, for a vehicle in this category and targeted competitors they should've done a better job with the first Gen production Stinger, as those will be the ones that will set the tone and the ones, people that are not aware of the Stinger, will come to realize Kia is now wearing its big boy pants.
Sorry for the rant and long first post.
P.S: Test drove it yesterday and it's amazing how the cars performs and how comfortable it is.
