Front tow hook license plate mount on the Kia Stinger

Here's some good options for those not wanting to drill into their front bumper for license plate bracket. Here in CA it's required to display your front plates and I've gotten "fix it" tickets before.

The good thing about these tow hook license plate mounts is that they're adjustable to clear the front parking sensor on the Kia Stinger.

Mount should look something like this.

I use a similar tow hook bracket on my car right now, the best thing is that it doesn't block air flow to the intercooler.

I'm probably going this route too.


I'd thought about doing the STO N SHO but I think it'll block too much of the intercooler on the Stinger.

Well dam that sucks, not planning on drilling into the front bumper lol. am sure I can purchase that bracket they sell and mount it under the bumper. thanks so much for the find

Do your front parking sensors go off with this mount? I have the same mount and have tried every mounting position and it still goes off. I think the mount itself clears the sensors but when I put the plate on, the plate has about 1/8" over hang and that sets it off. I think I may have to bend my plate around the top edge to prevent the sensors from going off. The sensor goes off every time and my wife likes to bitch and tell me "this is why you shouldnt be fucking around on this car and changing things." LOL

I had to move it around quite a bit. But finally found the sweet spot and they don?t go off anymore.

Which kit from http://www.usmillworks.com/ is correct? Theirs seem to be much better quality. For my 335i I got the kit from Burger tuning, but they don't make one for the Stinger

I measured my Canadian 2018 Stinger Tow hook threads and they are M24x2.5

Does anybody know where I can buy a tow hook plate mount that will fit?

So I decided to dig this thread up from the grave 🤣
I signed up here while I was looking for a license plate mount solution to avoid drilling holes into my front bumper, and although I bought the car used, it didn't have a front license plate holder, I guess it's not required in Montreal, and that's where I bought the car from, I live in Ontario though.
luckily the car doesn't have front parking sensors.
So I ended up getting the iJDMtoy holder and the most economical way to get it with the fastest shipping is to order it on amazon.com and get it shipped to Canada.
This post is just to let the thread visitors know how they could get it.
