Could a V8 Stinger be coming?

According to this article the transmission is going to be the bottleneck of the car. Wonder what will they do with a V8.

With the V8 having 429 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque, I think the big question is how much potential can the V8 generate over the Turbo 6? I would hate for them to stuff a V8 in there and totally mess up the driving dynamics if the difference in overall potential is very minimal.

I saw that the other night. Makes me nervous about getting a tune (if I even get a Stinger). Hopefully they'll beef it up to handle extra power.

Going off of history, the V8 would only be RWD. I couldn't imagine them putting it into an AWD variant. The way the world is going, the V6 is much better.

I am all about V8's and have had a few of them(300 SRT8, C6 Z51, 300C, '94 Impala SS ). But I would NOT buy a V8 in a Stinger. Doesn't fit the nature of the car
