Hey everyone!

I am new to carbon fiber cause I never really cared to put it on my Mustang. I want a hood but I'm finding out that the hoods are fiberglass with a CF overlay? Is this correct? Am I missing something or just a complete idiot when it comes to CF?

Most of them are Carbon Fiber unless they specify it's fiberglass..

You are correct. The fiberglass has the exact shape the hood needs to take. The carbon fiber is laid over that. Same is true for the other parts, e.g. trunk lid, mirror caps, hatch frame.
