Has anyone heard any more about the bi-modal exhaust system promised by Kia NZ for the GT in February? I would have thought that this would be available by now especially as it is made in Aussie for Kia. Any news would be gratefully appreciated.

I'm from the USA but the rumor I heard was that it was delayed due to quality issues. I'm not sure for how long.

From what I can see here in Oz on facebook today someone has just had the Bi-modial exhaust fitted . Might have been the first one.

I wonder if they will post a video of the sound. I?m keen to get one but done want to spend the money on something that is not much different from stock! Or too loud!!! Would
Love to hear one, as would everyone else I imagine.

Finally had the bimodal fitted,after a 4 month wait. It is louder, I can now hear the car change gears, can?t say I?m really satisfied with it, I was hoping for a bit more over run sound etc a la AMG etc. It does make playing with the paddles more fun. Love the car!

That not good Sthland Kia is my dealer i was quoted $2800 approx

I got mine at Berwick Kia. Waited 3 months cost $2650 installed. Sounds better.

Yes sounds nice but I think it's up near the $5000 mark

At the moment yes, but give it another 6 months there could be more aftermarket installations which could be cheaper or nicer note. But at the moment I like, mainly for using those paddles better. Oh I wish I had a manual lol

5000? No way. We have a discount for being forum members. Don't go by the prices on ebay.

You will need to contact tubi or an authorized retailer in order to get the discount.

And that would be for the full system. If you are comparing just the CAT-back; hence mid-pipes and rear exhaust you are somewhere south of $3,500 I believe.
