Just tried to install a new midpipe on my ‘18 GT2, and I must say the amount of rust on the cat/midpipe flanges was disgusting... only driven 13k miles over a year. The bolts for the midpipe of the exhaust were SEIZED. I could not get them removed, even after a couple hours of techniques used to remove seized bolts.... so anyone who is planning on installing new exhaust, I would recommend taking it to a shop to get the bolts off. My truck, a 2004 Silverado was not nearly as bad as these were which is pretty upsetting considering it’s 15 years old.
