Alarm type?

Anybody knows what kind of alarm is in the Stinger? I know we dont have any proximity or impact alarm but is it just an immobilizer? Does the horn only come on when the system is arm and the door/hood is open?

Yes the horn comes on if the car is locked and the door is opened. You can test it my leaving the window rolled down, locked the door and then open it.
