2020 Kia Stinger rumors and info thread

So from what I've read Kia might be doing some updates to the Stinger for 2020. I'd say lets start a discussion on this topic.

From what I've gathered these are the "possibilities":

1) Dual clutch
2) A performance version
3) Possible more motor options.

That would make sense, especially since most manufacturers are moving towards virtual cockpits.

Kia does refresh cycles on 3 years and redesign cycles on 5-6 years.

No chance of a manual transmission.

Probably no chance of the upgraded dash until the 2021 refresh.

If true I'd be kind of surprised seeing that the 2020 G70 looks like it's getting the 3D digital cluster and I believe that the 2019 Stingers / G70's already share the same analog cluster from the same parts bin (I think).

They do, the clusters are virtually identical.

I would love to see a manual transmission, the youth to don't know how to drive a stick so its theft proof. I grew up driving a stick, I feel like I'm operating a car unlike today where you just sit in it and steer.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Stinger!!!!!!!

Two weeks ago at my dealer the options were out for the 2020 model. DRIFT mode on AWD model. 100% power to rear. 80/20 split for Sport mode and 60/40 for all other modes. Not sure about power though, it wasn't stated. Also will be available with an orange color!
