0w20 oil in gt1

My dealer changed my oil and used 0w20 instead of 5w30. He told me that the car will run better and that Kia is recommending this. Has anyone else used 0w20 or heard of any issues with it. I have always used 5w30 in the past.

I wouldn’t trust 0- anything. They recommend it for a nominal increase in fuel economy because it’s not as thick but it’s also not as protective. Probably ok if you’re stock.
