This should be the fix instructed to us by Lap3 in Korea They come pregapped but I'll double check the measurement to make sure there isnt a need for regapping. We ALWAYS recommend checking gap lengths, even on pregapped plugs.

We've been in communication with Lap3 in Korea about the chip being used on the Stinger. That being said we've been told that this is a viable solution to misfiring. I trust that they have looked into this or tested this and not just telling us as a band aid answer

The point of the upgrade plugs is to prevent misfiring. We?ve been using this combo of upgraded plugs with the chip on other Kia/Hyundai platforms without issue of warranty work if needed.

Oh sorry, I thought you meant long term like a replacement for stock plugs without using the chip. You can run these plugs short term, like if you needed to go to the dealership and needed to remove the chip. This would be perfectly fine

Yes, these plugs you would ONLY want to run in a tuned/chipped state, not on a stock motor!

If you're running the Chip on the 2.0T we require (like on the Optima) to upgrade to the HKS MK45XL plugs to safely run the chip Yes if you have 92 run the 91 Octane setting, NOT the 93!
