    I assume you have the 2.0T? My fuel pump was also replaced but I haven't had the issues you are having. Perhaps it might have been related to the remote start install as it sounds more electrical rather than mechanical.

    Mine also feels a little loose when I press down on it but it doesn't make any rattle noise when I drive. Maybe add some felt underneath it?
