I've read about a problem similar to this on another forum. I think with the other one, the bumper was getting similar damage around the headlight area. Apparently there's some flexing going on with the bumper when driving and it causes the bumper to rub against the headlight or in your case...

I wouldn't use the brush for cleaning myself. If it's soft enough, it might be good for removing snow off the car in the winter time but, as you said, the paint on these Stingers is really delicate and in many cases defective with paint peeling and flaking issues that KIA is currently looking into.

Is this legal in the US? I think the USDOT requires a rear side reflector and you might get a ticket for painting over it. When I first saw the Stinger, I wasn't crazy about the rear side reflector but now I do kind of like it.

Great win for the Stinger! Those V10 M5's came with 500hp/380 lb,ft and either a 7 speed SCT or a manual. I think this one was a manual because I think I saw the nose dip down once or twice during the run.
