I don't listen to FM much. But when I do, I've noticed the volume of the station coming and going - whether I switch to HD or not. Anyone else noticing this? Suggestions?

The wind noise from the driver's door was the most surprising thing I found when test-driving. The car I actually purchased was different and has similar noise level.

I'd say something's increasing the ignition temp. My guess is that the car is trying to compensate for what the chip is telling it until it blows the plug and/or coil. I would guess that, if Kia sees enough of this issue, they'll put limits on how hot the coils can get. This is all speculation...

Could the chip be asking the coils to amp up the spark? I'm trying to figure out how the coil takes a hit. Of course, the plug may be going and that may kill the coil... all interesting.

Stillen gets (got) their name from what they've done behind the wheel. Making and selling parts is one thing they do trying to support their performance building and driving habit! :)

Yeah, scraping them up cheap on a forum, ebay or craigslist is a good thing. Usually they're heavy, skinny things the manufacturer is really proud of!

I've heard of fitment issues for some of these.

I just looked on DirecTV with a Search and none of the episodes mentioned SEMA or the Stinger. I was going to ask when this was going to air, but it was last night? I wonder when it will air again.

Sounds at first like spark blowout but if it's there after removal, that would imply the plug(s) incurred a problem. Good luck and keep us posted!
