    Downpipe Thread

Jun said they don't usually do dyno's just on downpipes by themselves since they make these to pair with a catback exhaust setup. They don't believe downpipes are meant to be used alone.

The OEM stuff is generally restrictive, so these will give better flow to the exhaust output. I'd imagine they'd also improve the sound a bit too.

    {{ ImportShark }} ARK Performance 3.3L Catback

New shot from today's testing at ARK's facility. This thing looks like a beauty! If you're not familiar with ARK Performance, they're a long-time powerhouse in the KDM scene. Their products are definitely in a class above the likes of Borla, Magnaflow, Greddy, etc. The only other brand on the...

    Stinger Logo Emblem Development Underway!

Oh a steering badge logo is very high on my list. The main problem I'm having right now is that the OEM steering wheel airbag module is needed for proper product development--and unfortunately that's extremely expensive from US parts suppliers. The alternative is me getting a trace of the KIA...

    Downpipe Thread

No it does not need result in a CEL nor does it require a tune. Swapping out downpipes is pretty similar to changing the catback exhaust in that it?s a quick bolt-on upgrade. We have sold a few sets of these and those individuals have all given positive reports. Granted, it?s still a small...

    intake

There was a video made not too long ago that showed certain short ram intakes had the same or better performance than the OEM air box. The main reasoning for temps staying consistent and NOT being warmed was the fact that while the car is in motion, air is filtering through the engine bay and...

Hmm, do you mean a muffler delete maybe? The Stinger has two pieces finishing off the exhaust, which are the muffler sections. I just happen to be working with a company that is making a muffler delete kit. Some may refer to this as an axleback type exhaust.

{{ ImportShark }} NEW! Wheel Cap Sneak Peek

Here's a quick look at our first Stinger-specific product release...add-on wheel caps soon to be available in Brembo-red and brushed chrome--either the GT or Stinger text logos. These basically just stick right on top of the Kia-branded wheel caps on your car. Quick-n-easy visual upgrade...

What do you mean a slip on version? I'm not familiar with the term.

    Stinger Logo Emblem Development Underway!

I'm not sure about the Audi thing, but I kinda think of Optima when I see the "K" logo. It just doesn't fit the uniqueness of the Stinger. And funny you mention the Tiburon in regard to the E logo because that was my initial thought when I first saw that. I mean, it's a nice emblem and all...

    SoCal Stinger Needed

Hey all, one of the manufacturers we work with is interested in taking a look at the Stinger 2.0 and 3.3 for initial product development. At this stage they'd just want to inspect the car up on a lift to give it a good once-over to decide what products to make. This company does a lot of...

    Stinger Logo Emblem Development Underway!

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere myself. Of course it's very possible to do, but everything depends on demand at this point. I'd think the likeliness of that happening is very low because most people who buy the car and want to change the emblems are looking to get away from the brand...

Winter Tires, Gas, & Alternative Logos

In regard to your third question, we're literally making the Stinger logo in the form of a replacement emblem. https://www.kiastinger.org/forum/threads/838-Stinger-Logo-Emblem-Development-Underway! This is currently undergoing R&D and it's a race against time to get them before the Asian new...

Kia Stinger Badge - Rebadge, Debadge or Leave it Stock , what is your preference?

From what I've seen, as long as you're extremely careful lining up the Stinger lettering, it will just barely cover the guide post holes. I'd suggest taping over those from the outside and using some silicone on the backside to seal it before doing that.
