    Ordering Info/Showroom Dates

Nice! I've been talking with my salesman here and he said the manager is taking delivery for all trim levels and should be here early December. I'm about 8 hours from you so if they aren't and I don't have much going on, I'll drop down there and look at a few.

When will you perform the first oil change?

Depends on what factory oil they decide to go with. I know the my Mazda dealership uses Quaker State... no bueno. However, it's my daily and it's a full synthetic so I'm a bit more leniant with it. If it's Amsoil, Mobil, or Valvoline, I'll stick with it.

    Let's play Name the Prototype

Good thing you pointed that out. The current gen Optima looks pretty good imo. Set it down about two inches and give it some wheel options, mighty fine mid-size sedan.

Kia Stinger will have standard Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC)

My Sonata had a system like that. No idea what Hyundai calls it though. Very miniscule innovation but very helpful

    Welcome CajunStinger

    Let's play Name the Prototype

I'd say an Optima also. The rear quarter panel window has a curve upward which the Optima's have and so does the Stinger (but clearly not the Stinger). Those rear lights are hideous

Kia Stinger Launch Control has 4 second window

Am I the only one seeing a range of 596 miles? Idk how many times a can use the emoji >> [facepalm] The tank size is already established being 15.9 (on the spec sheet in another thread). So, that means it has an est. range of 381 miles (averaging 24 mpg/tank). To hit 596, it would need about 38...

Welcome to the Kia Stinger Forum, please post an introduction

I'm on the SS forum also, a guy on there has a thread about his dreaded SS experience. They finished the last one I want to say two months ago. He still hasn't received his. There's a couple 17's still on their way over. There will be a few gems sitting on the lots at the end of next year. You...

Kia Stinger vs Holden Commodore SS-V

For me, it's between 4 cars: Stinger, Chevy SS, 300 SRT8 and a Genesis 3.8. The Chevy SS is the main one I want but I have to have the 6 speed. There isn't many left and the prices are right in my budget. However, I haven't driven the Stinger yet so I'll kick myself in the a** if I buy an SS now...

Hyundai Shopper Assurance 3-day Money Back Guarantee

It seems the companies share quite a lot from one another so I think they will. It'll help buyers get an everyday feel for the car before they pull the trigger. Very good strategy on Hyundai's part

2018 Kia Stinger Dealer/Mall Locations for Demos

ATXStinger, I was hoping someone would find a way to convert it. Much easier for members, thanks!

    What would you change?

I never knew it flashed. I didn't subcribe to the Blue Link just because of the price. There were multiple features but I would've only used the remore-start and maybe the diagnostic test from time to time. I'll be happy when we can have the key handed to us in dealers and see what it's like...

Kia Stinger vs Holden Commodore SS-V

I've looked and haven't found anything regarding whether or not the RWD gets launch control. It may be an option on RWD and standard on AWD? Hopefully someone who knows for sure will chime in. I was thinkiing RWD to begin with until I saw an article which stated said topic.

Kia Stinger vs Holden Commodore SS-V

"The all-wheel drive Stinger also carries a launch control function, an electric aid to assist drivers in accelerating rapidly from a standing start." I'll correct myself.. RWD apparently doesn't get the feature. Get a RWD GT and then test the two. Gotta love biased tests [facepalm]

2018 Kia Stinger Dealer/Mall Locations for Demos

At least for us here in the U.S. I'm surprised malls have them but nevertheless a good marketing strategy. If any of you guys are close to one, make a trip and post some pictures, we'd love to see them! I'm in South Dakota so I am the unlucky one...

Kia Stinger vs Holden Commodore SS-V

I'm curious. When he initiated launch control, you can see the back end squat ever so slightly. Looks like that one is a RWD variant. Very good times for it if it is indeed. The driver may need a lesson with the Commodore. The "American" SS is a 4.7-.9 car all day. Some even hit the advertised...

    What would you change?

I wasn't meaning that maliciously.. I should've looked through the forum and found what this thread was talking about. I would have replied to this thread instead lol sorry man. I'm happy to see that UVO isn't a subscription. It seems like Hyundai was trying to make there brand more exclusive...

    What would you change?

I literally answered this is another thread. You will have an option but like Hyundai, I believe that KIA will have something similar to Blue Link (UVO I'm assuming). The car will already be capable for Remote-Start. We will probably have to subscribe to the UVO system in an app based feature...

    Pricing announced

I think it's a way to make more money. I had a '15 Sonata Limited with a few options. I was able to download Blue Link, I believe this is just Hyundai, but I was unable to use the features. It had the Blue Link button on the rear view mirror but no features. I had an option for Remote-Start...

That a** end is so RS7 and Panamera - probably the two best looking cars out there. I might add the Panamera Sport Turismo also. That's probably why I like this car so much.
