Same here. I removed mine on my SWP and had no issues at all. I also used goo gone. So yeah it is rare, but I have seen it happen on micro blues and ceramic grey's so far.

the main concern there would be capacity. Looks like its a small tube, compared to an actual catch can, you will be probably by emptying that before your oil change (on the PCV side).

There has been reports of paint bubbling in some Stingers after removing badges due to the glue remover used.

That setup will not work for the Stinger. You need a can for each side. It will built up crank pressure thru the vent line and blow out the dipstick making a mess. Leave the stock vent line as is. Or run a second can on it. DON?T hook it up with the PCV line.?
