Welcome aboard Dan. 54,9? for an AWD GT2? That is a terrible deal MSRP for that car with the options listed is 52,8. I have seen OTD deals for similar cars on a 24mth lease for 41k-43k range. I'd suggest you keep looking.

Depends on how bad is it, and if you had any protection on the paint prior to the spots appearing. Generally a clay bar will work. However if the spots remain you will need to polish the paint. You can also try wheel acid but you need to be very cautious when using this method as you can easily...
