As one explained it, they can't take a deposit on a car if they have no invoice for it yet. I was assured they would accept one once they receive invoices and know when and what is coming though. The same dealer sent another email early this morning and said they've now been told "mid-October"...

Exactly. I'm getting nervous; my current lease is up 10/19 and if it's not here by then I may have to make short term arrangements, or worse, look elsewhere.

Heard from 3 different dealers (finally); all 3 said the same thing, no one has a clue when they're coming and they will NOT be accepting deposits, it's first come, first served.

Not only that, but now I'm getting emails and calls from them about everything EXCEPT the Stinger. [?|]

I've emailed 7 dealers and only got a response from one, which was to say they had zero info yet and therefore wouldn't take a deposit.

I'll never understand why people upload exhaust clips...and play music in the background. That's as clear as mud to me.

Not that I can recall. I'm assuming my email was forwarded to them by Kia. Which makes me wonder why I never received the Kia survey. No, no color options, only features and option packages.

I never received a survey from Kia, but I got one today from Strategic Vision. Did anyone else receive the second one? I'm sure it was just hypothetical but the survey hinted at the MSRP for both models, which were referred to as 2.0 Lux and GT1, GT2, and GT3, based on equipment. And I hope...

After seeing a few acceleration videos for both, I'm starting to wonder if both engines just don't hit redline, even in sport mode. Or maybe, the true redline is ~6k but it shows higher.

Oh ok, I know what color grey you're talking about now. Why would they not offer that on the GT, that's nuts. The GT is top-shelf, you'd think they would offer all colors and all options.

Do you mean Panthera Metal, or is there a panatella metal also? According to that leaked document, Panthera is a "dark purple" and doesn't appear available for the GT. There's a ceramic grey on the GT, which is likely the dark grey color they've been showing. From the doc...
