What is the process to activate them?

When these see installed (or aftermarket versions), do they self detect? Is there anything that needs to be done to the car? Or will the car sense the new sensors and just work? Thank you

Confirmed, it is not an OEM accessory. This dealer outsources to a local "guy", and they charge $499 per 4 door (seems expensive). I took a close up picture of one of the edges, and it appears to be a tinted film over a chrome plastic. I wasn't a fan of the tinted film appearing to peel away.

Draw-Tite 24974 is the only hitch on the market as far as I could find. Install is super easy if you are comfortable taking off the bumper cover. I cut the bumper cover with a hot-knife. Worked like a champ.

It's very unfortunate and nearly unforgivable that the firmware and map update software are bundled together (you can not buy just the firmware update). The firmware should be separate and free, and the map updates could be for sale... But they are bundled together... My question - will this...
