JB4 Map 1 Major Bog during acceleration...

I've had that happen a few times and usually it's traction related, like hitting a bump in the road or there's a slight dip. With the pedal floored, the ECU cuts power and it causes a major bog. Me personally, I wouldn't worry about it, if it didn't throw a code. But, if you're concerned, you...

    Jb4 wireless connection error

Sorry to see you're having troubles with it. Are you registered on the jb4 board? You can try asking for help there; Terry is sometimes online til late and will answer questions. https://www.n54tech.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=39

Running E30 on the Stinger GT

I was under the impression the fuel wires are already included on the newer JB4 model's enclosure? Or do you already have one?

Running E30 on the Stinger GT

I have the fuel wires, yes. I don't even bother disconnecting the jb4 anymore though. I went in for an oil change once and forgot to take it off first. I figure well they know now, no sense in going through the hassle everytime.

Running E30 on the Stinger GT

It's an optional add-on, you don't have to have them. While not 100% accurate, there's an e85 gauge you can display on the jb4 app that will give you an idea how much you're running. I use that and simple math when I refuel; I usually don't get gas until at empty, so I pump 93 first and then...

    RaceChip vs JB4

I'm Team JB4. I've had mine two years this month and highly recommend it. The company is always updating firmware/making improvements/adding features and the support is among the best, if you need help or experience a glitch. Definitely the best performance bang for the buck. 👍

2021 Stinger is looking really sweet

Seriously though, I hope the changes are more substantial than what we've seen so far. I WANT to be excited, but, what we have seen seems so minor I don't know why they bothered with camo. 🤷‍♀️ Here's hoping there's more in store.....

(3.3TT) Another Front Brake/Rotor Problem... Lost For Words

It sounds crazy but that's the only thing that worked for me, and others, from what I've heard. The problem is they're going to replace it with stuff that's only going to be a temporary fix. You can try the high-speed-stop fix, and that too will only be a temporary solution. Going aftermarket...

(3.3TT) Another Front Brake/Rotor Problem... Lost For Words

I got the rotors from r1concepts.com (best prices but they run out of stock quickly); I went with the elines in silver. The pads came from khartunerz.com; I went with Stoptech, but don't necessarily recommend them (they're powerful but quite dusty). They have plenty of other options though, if...

(3.3TT) Another Front Brake/Rotor Problem... Lost For Words

You probably don't want to read this, because no one really wants to spend their own money to fix an issue on a brand new car. But, if you want to save yourself future headaches AND greatly improve brake performance, you should probably invest in aftermarket rotors and/or pads. I spent 120 bucks...

Anyone else have their right foot get wet?

That sounds about right, cabin filters are disgusting. They showed mine at the 30k mile service and to quote Mr. Deeds, the hideousness of that thing will haunt my dreams forever. 🤢

    0-60 Pulls. Pretty Impressed!

I've tried the 2nd gear launch a couple of times. I've read the transmission can handle it but from behind the wheel it doesn't feel like it, at least in my case; it really seems to strain. The jb4 has a cool feature where you can limit boost in the first 3 gears to control wheelspin. I'm...

    0-60 Pulls. Pretty Impressed!

I'm RWD, which is why I'm stuck at 4.2. I get massive wheelspin when trying to launch from a dig, so, the extra power from mods doesn't make itself handy until after 60, where I've cut over a full second and added 10-12 mph by end of the quarter mile (low 12s at 116-118 mph).

Who waves to other Stinger owners?

Even after 2.5 years, I've only been close to another Stinger a handful of times and each time, they ignored me. The only time I've been acknowledged by another one, if you can call it that, was while in Mexico, when I raced a stock GTS and showed him what a jb4-tuned Stinger can do. He didn't...

JB4 - @!#?@!ing (The Imortal words of Qburt)

It's an excellent tuner with a lot of safety built into it to keep you from damaging anything. I'm kinda stubborn and don't follow directions and have changed settings that I probably shouldn't; each time, it simply reverted to stock map to keep me from blowing the engine up. I also never remove...

    0-60 Pulls. Pretty Impressed!

Excellent times. You're probably smart not to go with a jb4, believe me it just opens a Pandora's box of wanting to go faster and faster. When I got this car I was more than happy with 365 hp, but now, even at 450 whp and consistent 4.2 to 60, I'm itching for more since I know it's capable of...

Kia Stinger on Vertini RFS 1.8 Wheels

Oh nothing, it's just that it will be 3 years old in December, so, it'll be time for something new. Nothing out there really jumps out at me so I'm thinking I'll probably end up with a facelifted 2021.

Anyone else have their right foot get wet?

My first thought is, if you have another dealer within a 20-30 mile radius you should probably go there instead. This is the first I've read of water leaking in a Stinger so clearly it's not something common. If it were caused by a cabin filter I'm sure we would have seen complaints about this...
