    Creaky sounding steering wheel

I have the same issue but it's so intermittent I've never brought it up at service appointments. Keep us posted; if it's an easy fix I may look into it.

    My Stinger at the Dyno

Imagine being desperate enough to dig through the OP's old messages to prove he's right, and still being wrong. 😂

    My Stinger at the Dyno

You could maybe tone it down a notch, being this combative is not necessary or constructive. If you paid attention to the post date you would see this thread was started right after the Stinger came out; at the time there were no tunes, piggybacks or anything really, other than exhaust, which...

    First Time Stinger Owner

Man that sucks. I've been in that situation, where the excitement about picking up a new car dissipates when something about the car or deal isn't what you expected. That's a lot of money to spend on something you're not sure you'll be happy with. Are you 100% set on the 22 model? Any chance...

DBL Light in dash- dealer unable to fix

Excellent, let's hope this is the last time you'll need service for anything other than oil changes. 👍

DBL Light in dash- dealer unable to fix

It's not even my car and that pisses me off. 😠 This is why Kia service is considered a joke. Sorry man, hope you have better luck at the next dept.

What’s the most you can performance mod without tuning?

That, plus I'm RWD too. I've gone through 4 sets of rear tires in less than 50k miles. 🥺 If you're going to consider throttle controllers, check out the Windbooster. They all work basically the same but that one is almost always on sale.

DBL Light in dash- dealer unable to fix

I could see if they were waiting for a part but to keep you in the dark that long and not even fix it is ridiculous. I'd definitely find another service dept., if there's one somewhat close. It can't be THAT complicated to fix; it's likely something like a sensor. I know this is silly, but...

What’s the most you can performance mod without tuning?

Speed and power would be the only reason to go with a tune or piggyback. You'll get a little extra oomph with mods alone but a tune or piggyback will work with them and really raise the bar. I added intakes, dp's and catback first, and according to my dragy, I went from 13.3 in the 1/4 to 12.7...

DBL Light in dash- dealer unable to fix

The only time I've seen it mentioned anywhere online is during the winter in places where it's really cold. Otherwise, I've never seen anyone mention a true failure in the system. Is it cold where you are, could that be the issue? If not, and if it continues, I'd definitely find a new service dept.

New to doing E30 mixture with 93

It looks like you're getting a fuel trim variance safety trigger again. From what I can see in two logs, fuel trims (and afr) in bank 2 are not changing at any rpm. On one log, it's the opposite, fuel trim and afr changed in bank 2 but not bank 1. You might want to check your fuel wires and...

1st time Kia owner- 2019 Stinger GTS

Welcome and congrats! You picked an excellent color. I can't imagine how many heads must turn at the sight of a bright orange car. Enjoy!

New to doing E30 mixture with 93

You can email him directly or even start a thread on n54, linked above, that way others with knowledge can chime in. His email is Terry@burgertuning.

New to doing E30 mixture with 93

OK your logs are concerning. The first one shows you had both timing corrections and fuel trim variance, the latter caused the jb4 to put you back on map 0 for safety reasons. I don't want to tell you the wrong thing so I would definitely suggest reaching out to Terry for expert guidance. You...

New to doing E30 mixture with 93

One thing I noticed on your log is that it looks like you didn't do one long full throttle pull. Terry always recommends doing it that way, if you have a place that's safe to do so. What I mentioned above about throttle closure wouldn't apply in your case, since you didn't stay in it long enough...

Lap 3 vs Tork Motorsports ECU tune

E85; this is different than WMI. Right now the stock fuel pump can't really handle high amounts of E85. CPI allows you to safely run a higher percentage of it, which gives you more power. CPI is good for those who don't want to deal with meth and have access to high quality E85.

New to doing E30 mixture with 93

Welcome. I assume you're using a JB4? If so, you don't need a dyno tune to run E30, the JB4 will handle it all, including safety measures in case something goes wrong. If you're getting a throttle cut at or near redline, that's normal on higher maps; the workaround is to manually upshift at or...

Lap 3 vs Tork Motorsports ECU tune

Oh boy, sorry to introduce yet another option to you..lol. It's a kit from BMS, short for charge pipe injection. Basically, it's a 7th injector that will allow you to run more E85, thus making more power. Here's the thread: https://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=64602

Lap 3 vs Tork Motorsports ECU tune

There are some very helpful and knowledgeable members and wmi experts on the Facebook page and n54 forum. You'll have plenty of support if you go that route. 👍 I'm in the same boat, I want to go faster but not sure if I want to go with WMI, CPI, or a tune. Decisions, decisions....

Lap 3 vs Tork Motorsports ECU tune

Terry from BMS said on the FB performance page that techs will still be able to see you're tuned, even if you switch out ECUs. There are values stored elsewhere that are supposedly easy for them to find if they really want to. As for numbers, they're right in line with the JB4, in fact the...
