After talking with Terry he said the operation of the valve looks normal, said I could try bypassing the ECU solenoid. The stock solenoid had a crack in it and Kia put a new one on. I am now thinking this has nothing to do with the BOV and all to do withe the ECU. Guessing the sound in the...

Going to dealership on Monday, after talking with Terry from burger I think the valve is actually fine, I've been able to get the stock to do the same now although tial does it more. I think my ECU solenoid might be the issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I know of one owner that had them replaced, it is covered according to him, he is on this forum. Will look for the post. I will be wrapping mine black as I am going all black on my stinger. There is now way that should not be covered. You could try buffing it with polish and drill buffer...
