Kia Stinger will be getting more power for 2021

I don't think I misunderstood. To say "hoping sales continue to drop and they discontinue the stinger" just so you can have "more of a rare car" can do nothing but hurt KIA.

    New GT owner

Be proud to own a KIA, ditch the Hyundai Dealer Frame and get the one KIA sells for their Stinger(y): https://www.kiaaccessoryguide.com/accessory/Stinger/2019/License-Plate-Frame-Lower-Logo-2117

Kia Stinger will be getting more power for 2021

No. Many more Stingers built. I like never seeing a company lose money just because of selfish people .

Kia Stinger will be getting more power for 2021

Hoping that KIA has to discontinue our car because of slow sales, just so that we might have a limited production vehicle? Seriously? Our cars are already made in low enough quantities that even if the model continues, we still have a unique enough car so that we should never wish such a thing...

2020 Kia Stinger GT-Line becomes only 2.0-liter model on offer

The difference between GT-Line and base GT is $6k, I understand that's no small change. Enjoy your Stinger!

Congrats! For me though, the plate relocation/badge change deters from the car's clean lines.

    Just got 2020 AWD GT

2020 GT AWD = 149 mph (2019 GT AWD w/All Season Tires = 130 mph) ------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- That said, not sure 24 min to 36 min at it's top speed of 149 mph would be recommeneded. Not just for our Stinger...

    New updates on 2021 Stinger

4% power bump not enough to interest me. Back when I bought/raced Fox body Stangs, they got me into new models with 10 and 20% hp increases. Bringing that number up to 400hp would be a different story. My 19 GT AWD will remain in my driveway ... and happily so.

Just found odd looking "track" like distortion on bumper ...

Ok, had the dealer auto body shop look at it. They said it was the paints reaction to an external heat source. What that heat source could've been, I don't have a clue. And even though they didn't think a flaw in the paint process contributed to it occurring, that they're going to fix it free...

Just found odd looking "track" like distortion on bumper ...

Have no idea what could have caused this. There's no paint transfer (as if from another vehicle) and no cracking to the bumper. Just this strange track or feathering appearance on the surface of the driver's side lower bumper. Ideas?

Turns out 'recommended' Premium gas doesn't do much

The AAA's test result of an average power loss of 1.4 % with Reg fuel means a 5 hp drop with our Stinger GT. That's more than acceptable to me considering the cost savings.

Turns out 'recommended' Premium gas doesn't do much

Since when did "regular vs. premium octane" ever become a debate? lol Owners manual says premium is recommended, not required. Debate Ended.

Turns out 'recommended' Premium gas doesn't do much

Excellent post Turbocom, good to see common sense and reason still exists.(y) The only legitimate data from the manufacturer is that we might lose a few hp/mpg, that's it. KIA "recommends" Premium Fuel (91 in the US), which is not even remotely the same thing as "Requiring Premium Fuel."

Turns out 'recommended' Premium gas doesn't do much

@Stiletto, I thought you said you were going to adhere to reality. Alternately, saying the average performance increase in that test is not indicative of Stinger performance gains is a misdirection. Furthermore, the article used vehicles of different types/makes. Are the across the board...
