The 2021 you drove was the 2.0L 255 hp model, the new 2022 2.5L 300 hp should close the performance gap with the 3.3L GT. But as of now, it hasn't been officially tested so we don't know how much that gap has been closed.

You live in Florida, so if you're not planning on moving to the snow belt where AWD and A/S tires are a must, then I'd say RWD. RWD is faster in the dry and will save you $2,200.

So what happened? Need an update.

Lol @ Euro fanboys comparing cars costing $10k-$15k more than a Stinger while quibbling about an EPA measured diff of 3 mpg (as with the Audi S5 Sportback). 🤦‍♂️

The owner's manual does not state that 91 octane or higher is required, they simply "recommend" 91 or higher. That is world's apart from it being a "requirement", which it is not. You'll get reduced power/mpg, and that's about it.

Doug's observations are usually spot on, and he definitely nailed it on this one! He accurately states that 90% of people don't care what badge is on your car, and the 10% who do care are car enthusiasts and they'll know you're lying.😉

OK, I checked it out further. The kickdown mechanism is still there and functioning, but the "click" is definitely not as pronounced as when new. I used my hand to depress the accelerator pedal and could feel some resistance at the kickdown point (you can do this even when the car is off), but...
