V6TT - What Turbos Does Kia Use?

Looking at the hot side of the turbo, only two ports feed it. http://m.greenturbo.co.kr/product/eq900-28231-3l100-lh/555/

V6TT - What Turbos Does Kia Use?

Although there isn't much data on the OEM snails, they don't use any wild tech. They aren't variable vane or twin scroll (on the 3.3L). The low end torque is due to tuning and the fact that only four cylinders directly power the turbos. It would be interesting to see an aftermarket manifold...

    Kia Stinger Aftermarket Wheel Options

Would a 35mm offset work? I recall seeing 40mm on plenty of Stingers. Maybe that was in staggered sets though.

What features/options would you like to see in the next Stinger?

Agree, a faster tranny would be nice. Along with dropping a couple hundred pounds. I am interested in which V8 vehicles you have found that are better than 17/25. I don't think they exist.

What features/options would you like to see in the next Stinger?

Not for the GT2. I have turned off all the nannies, but it still switches back to auto when I come to a complete stop.

What features/options would you like to see in the next Stinger?

Remote features through the UVO app, e.g. lock/unlock, location, remote start, etc., in North America.

    Big Turbo Thread

Depends on the platform and which turbo. I've seen kits with more than just the snails for less than this.

Oil viscosity on the engine cap 3.3t

It's because you're in the Arctic circle, aka Canada. At operating temps, there is no appreciable benefits between the two viscosity levels. 0W will have easier flow at sub zero temps, but even that is brand and spec dependent. Some 5W brands are thinner than 0W at near freezing temps.

    New brakes!

Yeah, I've had slotted rotors on multiple cars from different manufacturers...they sound the same as blanks. You may have an audible change because of the pads if the material is different (metallic or kevlar).

    Aftermarket Transmission control unit flash?

Lap3 was playing with the TCU back in March. Haven't heard/seen anything since.

    Spin-on oil filter conversion?

Why are the traditional spin on filters better? A Wix filter from Rock Auto costs $5. Most traditional filters run $8-20.

    Headliner crackle?

I have the same issue with the headliner crackle. I don't think it's associated with the moonroof as I can press on the roof behind the driver and the sound ceases.
