I am sure there is another thread on this but I could not find it. Sorry for the duplication.

Can anyone breakdown the difference between the GT1 and GT2?

From information information I have, it would appear that the delta includes the following:
- Kia ADAS package, which has all the fun technology (and can be added to a GT1 for $2k)
- Heads Up Display (unique to the GT2)
- Smart Power Truck (unique to the GT2)
- Napa leather trim (unique to the GT2)
- Shift-by-wire (unique to the GT2)
- Dynamic Bending headlights (unique to the GT2)

Is all that unique stuff worth like $5-6k?[confused]

You it hit all except:
16 way power Adjustable seat

To me it's worth the difference.

Or the adjustable air bladders in the GT2 seats that hold on to you when you're rolling at 167mph! LOL

Revisiting this. I recall reading somewhere that to start the run GT2 would be the only Stinger with the mechanical differential as intended for the entire line. Once production met demand then the other trim levels would also get this.

Anyone able to clarify on that point.. would it be a mid year transition for for upcoming model years.

Not sure what you mean by "mechanical differential" mdwallace. Stingers are basically RWD cars and so all of them will have a "mechanical differential." The GT2 only gets the Limited Slip Differential (LSD) while other RWD's all get a regular differential. The AWD in all trim models has a regular differential because it does not need the LSD.

The limited slip was what I was thinking of. Makes sense that the AWDs would be different. That leads to the question what are the RWD GT1s and 2.0s using
